My small crafty side


Today I looked at a blog with a post on Valentines decoration. I then got an idea on something similar, but much easier for myself, as the one on the post required some crafting skills which I lack. Above is my final product! :) yes cheesy, but it was way fun to make! I actually took the top of a small shoebox, covered it in cute paper and voila! anyway something fun for the day! :)

Worded Update

OK- I know, the Holmes have been off the blogging network for....well a while. Life has taken us through a wind of happiness this past second of our Detroit adventure, so here are some worded highlights, tomorrow I will post pictures.
  • The family all together after 7 months
  • Clearing out the Walmart fleece supply
  • The mission Christmas celebration
  • Allison's entertaining 'cooking, dancing, and singing' act, and her cutting skills
  • Heidi's jokes, loving pep talks and cutting skills
  • Matthew's face, and energy
  • Blake's hockey, Garage Band, and puzzle skills
  • Ashley's smile and peacefulness
  • Taylor's computer knowledge, and game skills
  • Mom and Dad's love for each of their children, and the MDM (Michigan Detroit Mission)
  • Downtown Detroit food, museums, and projects
  • Ticket to Ride mania!
  • Psych! (Thanks Barfuss fam!)
  • and the knowledge we have of our Saviour and his love for each of us, we rejoice still in his birth and sacrifice! We hope his spirit abided with you all as much as it did with us! More to come!!!
